Prague
Your career at Deutsche Börse Group
Finance Operations (FINOPS) Prague is part of the Financial Accounting & Controlling department of Deutsche Börse Group. The section FINOPS Prague is mainly responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting activities as well as further related topics. FINOPS acts as a service provider for Deutsche Börse Group companies especially in Germany and Luxembourg. The section is responsible for general ledger accounting of local Czech entity as well and is involved in monthly, quarterly and year-end closing. Being a member of the Finance Operations, you will be part of an agile working team, where digitization and agility are not only buzz words, but are part of what we are and what we do.
Your responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries
- Ensure proper reconciled accounts
- Ensure correct postings and account allocation
- Ensure data accuracy on on-going basis
- Active clarification of customer inquiries relating to payments allocation
- Assist in automating processes and procedures
- Support colleagues in documentation and knowledge sharing activities
Your profile:
- Strong understanding of debits/credits and accounting principles
- Experience in SAP would be considered an asset
- Fluent in written and spoken English must
- Written and spoken German would be an considered an asset
- Good analytical skills and care for detail
- Good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access)
- Willingness to learn
